Backwards cast on multiple of 3 and then increased one or two on either side of stitch markers, every 2 or 3 rows. Fun fur sections - no increases for 5 or 6 rows PLUS knitted purl side out to increase furry-ness… used a wrap/turn at beginning and end of this section because purl stockinette is such a P.I.T.A. Then decrease in reverse until total stitch count is approximately the same (not sure why by never seems to come out exact.

Join last row to cast on row with about 4-5 times length tail with a mattress stitch (or whatever you’re skill level is… imperfection rulez in monster making!)

These are kind of silly - but not too much so. What next? Squares? Not sure. it’s nice that they have the holes in the middle… less fiberfill??? Wonder what the recipient will think of them? Not sure I’ll ever know!
