Graph is from Donnas Crochet Shoppe

The graph I have alots for 150 stitches wide by 140 stitches long. I decided to make the blanket a size that would fit a full size/double bed. To do this, I have 240 rows of 170 single crochets.

The image being applied to the blanket is done by cross stitching. Each single crochet represents a square on the graph.

Even though the graph is printed out on 4 regular sized sheets of paper and pieced together to make easier to read. Sometimes my eyes get tired and I can lose track of what row and position I am stitching. One of the tricks I’ve learned is to always work off of a copy of the pattern. This allows me to cross off each row as it’s finished so I won’t lose track of where I am at.

I have taken a picture of my progress each day to show how far I have come along..
