Notes

This pattern is SO easy. (I did NOT do the stripes, so just ignored that portion of the directions). And I used a smaller hook (E) than the suggested G, since I am a loose crocheter with issues with stitch gauge, but I own it. lol Hardest part for me, as usual, is counting my stitches and keeping each row at 22 so the ending decorative edges work. Very very simple - highly recommend.

I’m debating going back and adding a decorative edge to the wrist area….haven’t decided.

Update 3/15/11- I DID go back and add a decorative edge to the beginning of the glove. I used the same yarn and first added a row of single crochet, and then did the same decorative stitch as row 10 - 3DC in a stitch, then slip stitch next stitch, then 3DC next stitch. Continue around. Need an even number of stitches to finish properly.

Here is the url for the free pattern:

10 Row Stripey Gloves

P.S. I realized I have these on upside down. The decorative edge should be at the wrist.
