Ive wanted to make this hat forever. After searching for the discontinued color i saw the reindeer and fell in love with the color, so i scooped it up and forgot all about my search for the discontinued color.

June 22, 2014 - I think I miscounted and left out a row of the 3 rows of ribbing. Ill have to see how it fits or if it messes with the look. I’m close to having the hat done so I hope I don’t have to frog it. Also, I didn’t use a circular needle at all. All DPN’s in all sizes.

June 23rd, 2014 - Didn’t frog it, made the ears and antlers according to pattern. TOK patterns are so well written and ingeniously simple I never really change anything. Well, I did change the weight of the inner ear yarn and the antlers. Mainly cause of the colors, both yarns I used were bulky. They turned out great tho.

The hardest part of the whole project was placing the ears and antlers. I set mine back a bit farther than the pictures I think.

I love my deer hat!
