Awesome Rat Fact- Out of empathy, a free rat will save a distressed rat trapped in a cage and give it some food.

July 7th, 2014 - I picked a dark gray and a light gray for colors A and B. I finished the first clue in about 45 min and still have no clue what im knitting, MKALs can be so fun!

July 8th - So Im pretty sure what it is. I think its a rat. Before I started I thought it was a possum based on the clues. So I wasnt too startled as a rat started taking shape in my hands.

I love rats so Im excited. I used to have one as a pet, I saved her from becoming a snakes dinner. They make awesome pets as far as alternative pets go. You know something besides cats and dogs. They are smart and surprisingly cuddly. She was white tho. Maybe Ill make a white one after Im done.

July 9th - This little cutie is so easy and looks so real. And she doesnt even have legs yet. I left her on the counter before and my mother saw it quickly and screamed. Hahaha . I also started a white one, with a provisional cast on and some fingering weight yarn with size 2 needles. I’ll see how it comes out.
