ok so this scarf was supposed to be a Christmas gift…..but I got busy with stuff and I hate making scarves. lol.

so now its may….ive picked it up again….attempting to finish some WIPs.

while this is a fun scarf to make… I bore very easily. I have 15 sets of scales and I feel like it needs atleast 5 - 7 more. I know it will grow after blocking and I’m trying to set a deadline to finish it in the next 2 days so I can block it and give it by the end of Teacher Appreciation Week…..first week of May 2016

I feel like scarves need to wrap around your neck atleast once and hang approx. 1.5 feet on the ends…. maybe I just like long scarves, I am A huge Doctor Who fan after all.

Final Notes: The only change I made was for the tail decreases after the ‘scales’ are done being knit. Also I made the scarf have 17 sets of scales in the main section for a total of 21 sets of scales.

Instead of K2tog for the first 2 stiches and last 2, I knit 2 THEN K2tog in the beginning and at the end of the row, when there are 4 stitches left, K2tog, knit last 2.

for the decrease from 7 to 5 stitches, knit 1 in the beginning and end instead of 2.

for the 5 to 3 st decrease: knit 1, K2tog, knit 2 and repeat on the next row.
