I promised Richard a pair of customised socks (he’s a design engineer at Rolls Royce) so the logo was appropriate.
The socks were easy enough to do..I made them longer in the foot and leg… and I decided to swissdarn the logo because I thought it wouldn’t work out very well having to strand the white back to the beginning on each round…with hindsight, this would have been a lot easier than the swissdarning which was soooooo hard to do neatly.
I’m still very much a novice here and my eyesight just isn’t good enough anymore, even in broad daylight, to find the stitches, especially so in this dark blue.
I hope he likes them anyway!
