I loved watching “The Herbs” and “Parsley” on the BBC in the early 1970s, even though I was probably a little too grown up already for children’s TV.
I looked for a pattern, couldn’t find one, so made my own.
I think he’s turned out OK…a bit of a character, just like the original grumpy old bird…
“I’m a rather fat, feathery owl called Sage,
I’m not at all happy, in fact in a rage……..”

I’d like to make a few more of these characters. Parsley next I think.
His song begins “I’m a very friendly lion called Parsley…….“
