Bev’s pattern is very realistic (if you can say that about a cartoon cat!), clearly written and detailed with lots of photos. I’m using a fairly fine DK so decided to go for a smaller hook than the one suggested (2.75 mm instead of 4) to make a smaller cat. My daughter is incurably moggy-mad and loves the Simon’s Cat character so I’m sure she’ll love this :-) . The “artist’s impression” is my own - just realised I’ve got the number of toes on the front and back paws the wrong way round. D’oh.

Update 26th June: making progress slowly! I can see the character taking shape :-) .

27th - now has a face but still legless!

29th - finished! Well I haven’t put his paw pads on yet but I may leave him as he is as I think he looks fine :-) A delightful little character!
