This is a glorious yarn for this design, although not as soft as the plain Whirl, due to the slightly scratchy lurex. But the result is worth it.
I’ve completed one ball of the Frosted Whirl and would like the shawl a fair bit bigger so have ordered another ball and will undo my last few rows and continue from the outside of the ball.

I ended up undoing most of the shawl and will work the 2 balls at the same time, keeping the colour changes together so I end up with the same colour gradients, just bigger.

A few hints for this pattern:
Always count your stitches. It’s so easy to miss the first little ch.
Put a marker in the first and last ch st in the sc rows. This helps avoid missing that little stitch and throwing out your stitch count.
Stitch counts in repeats of rows 15-26
Row 15. 28 dc, then 48, 68, 88 etc
Row 16. 29 sc, then 49, 69, 89 etc
Row 17. 32 dc, then 52, 72, 92 etc
Row 18. 33 sc, then 53, 73, 93 etc
Row 19. 34 dc, then 54, 74, 94 etc
Row 20. 35 sc, then 55, 75, 95 etc
Row 21. 36 sc, then 56, 76, 96 etc
Row 22. 18 popcorns, then 28, 38, 48 etc
Row 23. 19 2 ch spaces, then 29, 39, 49 etc
Row 24. 10 groups, then 15, 20, 25 etc
Row 25. 87 dc, then 127, 167, 207 etc
Row 26. 11 popcorns, then 16, 21, 26 etc
