This is so bloody cute… to be an adornment for my little girl’s room.

All the flowers are done. I’m currently trying to find a non-breakable cute pot for it and not having much luck. Most small pots seem to be ceramic and I just don’t think that’s entirely safe for a toddler. Once I find it I’ll be able to make the ball of earth, sew the flowers/lawn on and call it done. :)

Sept 2011 -- found a pot! Now I need to pack it to move house.

Dec 2011 -- Picking this back up. Only have the lawn and soil to do, and I’m so glad I waited. I’m changing the shape of the bottom so that it fits the pot I bought. I’m also holding a brown and a taupe DK yarn together and using a 5mm hook for the soil bit. I though the two different colours gave it more depth.
