I am using the Ooey Gooey pattern, but changed it to my own desire. I started with the normal cast on and continued as pattern recomends until row 10 of chart A. I then started to knit in stripes. I scipped the 3rd yoke increases and went on knitting in the main colour.
I am using blue, white and red yarn.
The blue one is Drops Flora, held together with a blue merino yarn from YarnHome, the red one is Drops Flora held double and the white one is a leftover merino wool from my stash.
I decided to cast off 2 inches below the armholes and finish the rest in crochet, using a seashell stitch. Thought it would match the overall flair of the maritim vibe. I also decided on shorter sleeves and did a few crochet rounds for the hem, flaring it out in the same seashell stitch used at the bottom of the jumper`s body.
