Brown and white two-colour knitting.

Started with a photo, reduced in Photoshop to black and white. Added a border with cat prints (now 380 x 380). Split into two halves, added a selvage stitch to each panel (now 191 x 380 stitches). Saved the images as .PCX format and used Brother Cartridge Utility and the Brother Cartridge to transfer the patterns into the KH-965i memory.

Then knit each panel with white yarn on top of brown background.

I’m finding that the floats on the back are annoyingly long.

Planning back panel. Found a pattern on line, trimmed it and pared it down into a bitmap, again added a border, split in half, and added a selvage stitch.

Next step is to knit the back of the blanket.

Ended up using the reverse colour scheme for the back. Seamed each side, then loosely crocheted the two sides together along the seam. Spun some cording from the yarns for a frame.
