Made this using a skein of variegated yard that I’d purchased for another project but never used. When I got to the end of the skein, I fortunately had a solid color on hand that matched and was able to finish with a solid colored hat band. The snowflake pattern does not show up as well with a variegated yarn, but it does make a pretty hat. Going to work it in solids from now on, though. This one was to learn the pattern. It’s a very pretty hat when done.
