I need a small portable project and this is it.

Another well written pattern, with beautiful charts, and a super speedy knit. If the week I knitted this in had been a “normal week” it would have taken less than 8 days to work.

I was absolutely convinced before I started blocking my shawl that it would be much smaller than the original (65 x 18”). The main problem is the garter stitch edge is just too tight to achieve anything wider than 54”. I need to work out how to achieve a much looser and therefore easer to block edge.

Colour-wise this yarn is a perfect match for my wardrobe, and I’m delighted with the graded colouring.
