It’s almost Christmas! Have to start this now!!!

I cast on 65 instead of the called for 45. I should have swatched though. I’m a bit worried that my cast-on was a bit tight.

It’s taken me about an hour to do six rows. I’m guessing I won’t need more than 20 rows to get the size I want, which means that I should be done in two-ish days. Keeping in mind the potential issue by the right cast on, I should be able to get this done before Christmas. {fingers crossed.}

I ended up totally scrapping the plan above after binding off. It was too short for what I wanted it to be used for.

So i doubled this. CO 117. Seed stitch for six-ish inches. About a skein and a half.

I don’t love how it came out. That is, I feel like my work was sloppy. There are two holes {dropped stitches?} that stare at me when I look at the finished product. Another thing is that, because of the chunkiness of the yarn it created a super obvious “ending place”. Boo.

The upside is that these mistakes are easily disguised once the cowl is actually being worn. I hope she loves it.
