This took me longer to make than I thought because I made it and realized the “No Dye Lot” skeins did not match (see last 2 pictures of blanket). Had to start over…note to self: Check production dates for this yarn (they can call it what they want, but trust me that is the dye lot).

All was not lost with the first try…ripped out the edging and made a kitty blankie for Finn’s cat (last picture)!

The caterpillar was fun to make, but next time i would use the same brand yarn for the appliques and body of the blanket.

I think the border is: round 1: sc, ch2 around. 2 rounds of sc in Lime, and 2 rounds in Fern. One round sc in Kelley Green and one round slipped stitch (I think).
