Someone on Etsy said that her 4 year old son kept asking for a stinky old shoe for Christmas - so she asked if someone could make her a small elf shoe that looked worn and smelled. Too funny! They had just watched the cartoon Prep & Landing - so she thought it would be neat to say it was Waynes shoe (thus the name tag inside). I knit her one elf shoe, added a couple of leaves and twigs, and then mailed it with a pine-scented air freshener. I hope it’s everything they wanted for Christmas! Such a cute story.
