I made this as a Hallowe’en costume for my 3 month old baby. I used fingering weight wool held double with size 7 needles. The chest circumference fit great (she was a small baby) and I lengthened the tail so that the decreases started at our feet. The pattern was well written and I love the lattice pattern. Maybe it’ll become a hat for my little one when she gets older!
