Once again, followed the pattern til the end of the bib, then did my own fiddly thing for the skirt and ties. What a fashionista Dawn is becoming.

Here’s what I did:
Follow her directions until you get to Row 9. I didn’t like the “button back” (personal preference). Please excuse the kindergarten way I wrote out the directions.

Row 9: Ch 1, turn, sc in first st, sc in second st, ch 1, skip the third st, sc in the fourth and fifth sts, ch1, skip the sixth st, sc in the seventh and eighth sts.

Row 10: Ch 3 (acts as first dc), turn, dc in next st, dc in the ch1 (in the stitch itself, not the space), 2 dc in the next st. Ch 1. 2 dc in next st, dc in the ch 1 (like you did for the last one), dc in the next two sts.

Row 11: Ch 3 (acts as first dc), turn. Dc in same st (at the base of your turning chains), one dc in each of the next three sts, 2 dc in the next st, ch 1, 2 dc in the next st, one dc in each of the next 3 sts, 2dc in the last st.

Row 12: Ch 3 (acts as first dc), turn. Dc in the same st (at the base of your turning chains), one dc in each of the next five sts, two dc in the next st, ch 1, two dc in the next st, one dc in each of the next five sts, two dc in the last st.

Border: Ch 1, turn. (sc, ch3, sc) in the very first st, skip the next st, (sc, ch3, sc) in the next st, skip…continue doing this through to the end. You should find that you skip the ch1 from the previous row, and that you end with a (sc, ch3, sc).

To make the ties, I just chained a length long enough to fit around the bottle and tie cutely, then threaded it through Row 9!
