I got a call from my town’s Housing Authority. Someone there saw our church ministry for our Stitch 1 Pray 2 group, and asked if we had a throw for a resident in need of one. He’s a disabled vet having surgery this week.

We’d just donated all our stocks of throws, shawls, and winter wear, so I asked if it was okay if I created one just for him. The contact said it would be great!

My husband and I picked up some yarn at Walmart--Red Heart is great for washing and drying, which is what the gentleman needs. This pattern gives visual interest, good coverage, and works up fast!
