2/24/15: got a million projects and stuff to do, but I got a text from a friend this afternoon that put it all into perspective…“Do you have a prayer blanket you can give to an 18-month-old boy who’s battling cancer? His name is Simon, and he is so sweet.”
After I caught my breath, I replied, “I’ll make it happen.” We had nothing at church, as we just made three deliveries last week.
So I got the ok from our prayer shawl ministry to grab yarn (I chose navy and green), and I need to deliver it to her by Monday…five days.
Here we go!

3/2: did rows 1 through 25, then crab stitched the border…would’ve gone til I ran out of yarn, but I need to hand it over early tomorrow morning…love the pattern!

A note about the crab stitch border--in order for it to look nice and even, crab stitch in EACH stitch…that means the ch2 stitches, too…one inside each stitch…looks soooo much better than doing a crab stitch or two into a space!!
