This Sublime pattern has a collar, but I decided to eliminate it. Kind of sorry now…this sweater looks like all my others! To make the front without the collar, I used another pattern by Sirdar - Design C, Lace-bottomed cardigans, Sirdar 354, the Juicy Book.

The bottom and sleeve ribbing is supposed to be 9”. I did the 9” for the cardigan, but because I have short arms, I did 5” for the sleeves. Because I made the arms shorter and eliminated the collar, I used less yarn than called for…just made it with 12 skeins.

The yarn had lots of knots, sometimes I could go just a few rows before I had to cut it and start the row over. It also pills. Although it is beautiful, I doubt I would use it again.
