16/3/21 The brioche edge is going to take some time to finish. I finished the main part of the shawl very quickly and was an enjoyable knit. I’m persisting with the brioche although I had some difficulty at first however I think after completing 2 repeats I’m able to read my knitting and fix mistakes if I make them. I did purchase some very short 10cm double pointed needles in 3.5mm and they arrived today as I was having difficulty with the longer ones I owned getting stuck and being awkward to knit the small edge. Hopefully they will make it easier and speed things up a bit.
