Notes

I have an extremely tight turnaround for this jumper. Fortunately I think this is a fairly similar knit to Paper Dolls, so I’m hoping that will help me. I’m also going to make this a cropped length, which should save me some time.

My row gauge from PD is quite different to that stated for PC, so I will knit a new swatch. Think I will use Titus again as it is a bit softer than Buachaille and I have sensitive skin.

I used a tubular cast-on throughout. I just love how it looks even though it’s a massive pain to do. I used Ysolda’s method, since I couldn’t figure out how many stitches I needed to cast on using the Brooklyn Tweed method.

Note for future me: do not use a smaller needle for the Ysolda tubular CO.

Decided to restart as my CO is way too tight.
My sleeve is now a gauge swatch. Stocking on 3.25mm
26sts and 34rnds to 10cm
Just as well I checked this as I should apparently be making the size 4 rather than 3. I did feel the sleeve cuff was tight.

15.09.17
Cast on with 3.5mm needles and it’s much better. Working the cuff.
