I much prefer the smaller gauge fabric. If I make the largest size of the sweater I should end up with roughly zero ease at my bust. Since I almost never button my cardigans this should be fine. I plan to add back neck shaping. I have six colours for my rainbow yoke but the row gauge difference means that adding an extra repeat of the colour work makes sense.

Forgot to add the back neck shaping but I’ve done loads of the colour work now so there’s no going back.
