Getting a lot done since I decided to catch up on the two series of Game of Thrones that I missed. Finished the lower triangle this morning, which seems to have gone fine. Looking forward to the first colour change, hoping for some nice mindless knitting now.

About halfway through the first yellow stripe. The rows are getting soooo long already and there are a lot more increases to come.

Finished the lower W and about to start the stripes on the RHS.

Finished the RHS stripes and started the LHS. It’s weird having to purl all the rows. Been trying to go back to basics to fix the tension issues I have developed with my purling. Looking forward to going back to knitting, but a little apprehensive about how long the rows are getting.

Finished the LHS stripes also. Working on the upper W now and the rows are soooooo long.

Now working on the yellow portion of the upper W. Have started watching West World, which seems fitting. Each row takes well over 20 minutes at present.

Finally finished the upper W. Now to start the upper red triangles. This shawl will be finished quite soon! Hope it continues to go well.

Quite enjoying the upper triangles as the short rows make a change from the incredibly long rows I’ve been doing for a while.

Back to working on this project after a long hiatus spent working on other things. Finding the mindless knitting quite soothing.

Still slowly working on the long rows. Counting nearly four hundred stitches is an absolute nightmare! Hampered by my sprained thumb but I can just about knit.

Cast off today. Used Icelandic bind off following recommendations on here. Unblocked 162cm long edge. 35cm width.
