Notes

I’ve made this cowl twice and every time I thought it was a bit too baggy, so I’m gonna try to go 1 or 2 needle size down to 3.75 or 4 mm and see how it goes.

I’m guessing it’ll use a bit less yarn, which is perfect since I’m working with leftovers and I don’t have the full yardage required. It’s possible that even with the needle change I might still run out of yarn, but worst case scenario I’ll just make the cowl a bit shorter.

I’m using Mary Maxim Eucalyptus in Natural and Gray colorways, I have 53g left of the natural (about 170 yards) and 32g of the gray (about 100 yards).

Since I have so much more white than gray, maybe I’ll stop when I run out of gray, or switch to entirely white, or start striping both colors at some point to gradually move to all white.

We’ll see how that goes!

So I had enough yarn for 24 pattern rows in the neck section, and 6 increase rows in the yoke section, 2 of which were with two colours, and the remaining 4 with only white. I am quite liking the result heart This yarn is just so darn soft! A real dream.
