Violet is my first Happypotamus.

This is the first time I was crocheting African Flower motif (love it).

I used join-as-you-go motif joining method, and this is the first time I used this joining method.

I used fine steel crochet hook no.19/0,65 mm (Tulip, made in Japan; it is bought 16 years ago, when I started to crochet).

I used 100% cotton crochet embroidery thread (two different sizes; these were bought years ago and I don´t have any information about these yarns) and polyester non-allergic stuffing (for pillows and toys). For eyes I used black safety eyes (diameter: 8 mm).

Spent around 60 hours crocheting.

Measurements of Violet: 8 cm high, 6 cm width and 16 cm long.
