WOW! The texture in this pattern is AMAZING!
It is very important to count and really pay attention to the pattern, but this is going to be beautiful!
Making for my first granddaughter, Carmilla, who is expected Aug 30/Sept 1, 2021. Her mom, Kailyn, did not want the typical pink blanket and wanted “sunset colors”, so I found this yarn at Hobby Lobby and am in love with how the colors are playing out in this blanket.

About two more weeks to go before Carmilla’s due date and her blanket is up to round 36 and about 34 inches across. To date, I’ve put in almost 20 hours total working on it. LOVE the textures that these stitches are producing on both the front and the back. REALLY gorgeous!

Completed… well, it is about 9 rows shy, but already at 50” across. I was afraid that anything larger would be too cumbersome to use as a baby blanket. I LOVE this… texture, pattern, yarn, size, picot edging… LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I really hope my granddaughter will love it, too. She’s expected Aug 31/Sept 1, 2021.
Total of about 36 hours and 20 minutes work time.
