Last year I bought some embroidery floss from Ebay, to crochet some colourful bracelets.

I’ve started on Atuin and made a few Cindy’s Babies in DK.
But Heidi’s comment made me think of my cross-stitch floss again.
Uummm! interesting!

A standard DMC floss has 6 strands and is 8 metres long. I crochet with all the strands.

It was ok to crochet each rounds as they only used small amount. But the legs and head I had to use 4ply green because I just didn’t want the limbs to be in different shades of green or brown. I don’t have floss in same shade.

The wee carrot was tricky to crochet because of the scale and the lack of same shade of orange!

This one is all mine as he is one of the kind and staying so! I got cross-eyes!!
