Pattern from Craftseller Magazine issue 46
Doing the accessories first and this pattern uses UK Term.

Accessories: S/F January 22nd - 96 yards

Bone
2mm hook. I JAYG the two parts of the bone instead of sewing.

Heart
2mm hook. Stitch marker is very useful for continuous crocheting.

Basket
3mm hook. For the edge I only crochet 2 rows of tr then dc the 3rd row. A 3rd row of treble looked too high for me!

Blanket
3mm hook. I didn’t turn my work to crochet the next rounds.
R1: To close this round I did htr instead of ch2, then crochet the 6tr on the htr.
I crochet 6 rounds.

Hat
3mm hook. Using yarns Matador, Cloud Blue & fluffy White.
It’s hard to crochet 4dc in a magic ring so I did 4tr in a magic ring then continue in pattern.
R7: In order to get 18sts it should be (dc in 7sts, 2dc in next st) repeat.
I trim with “Bergere de France Toison”. I dc with 3.5mm hook.

All completed and I absolutely love all of them ♥
Wet my appetite to make the Chihuahua as soon as possible!

Bone = Choco-bone
Heart = Bleeding heart
Basket = Choc pancake
Blanket = Blueberry flapjack
Hat = Drippy cone

Weekly Challenge
Craft a snack item that would appeal to the youngsters riding on the Hogwarts Express, or any other type of snack item that you could eat while riding on a train.

Here are other snacks that could be found on the trolley, White Choco-bone, Choc Bleeding-heart, Chocolate pancake, Blueberry flapjack & Drippy cone.

16mm Eyes
2mm hook for everything.

Eekkk!!! Forgot to put the eyes in! Had to undo the head a bit so I could push them in!!

Now to sewing! Brrrrrrr!!!!

I’ve crochet the nose.
Chain 9, sc in 2nd, sc in next 7 loops. (8sc)
(Ch1, sc2tog, sc to end) repeat.
Finish with sc2tog & 1sc.
Cut a long tail to sew and to shape mouth.

He’s so sweet looking ♥

1. In Cat Rat and Dog…all are revealed…I love how all the characters are introduced. How do you think Harry is feeling throughout this chapter? Why is it important that Hermione and Ron are with him?

Confuse, shock! I know I was. Hermione’s cat is friendly with fugitive Sirius Black, Ron’s rat is an animagic creature of a ‘’dead man’’ and Harry’s dad is part of this conspiracy!!!
Harry would need a lot of moral support from his friends and visa versa!

2. Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot, and prongs…Harry finds out some important information about his past in this chapter. What is your favorite part in this chapter?

I like how Lupin’s friends taught themselves animagic so they can keep Lupin company even when he was a wolf. Harry was surprise to hear that his father was one of his friend!

3. There are so many things going on in this chapter The Servant Of Lord Voldemort…One quote that sticks out is: Professor Lupin to Prof Snape: “Is a schoolboy grudge worth putting an innocent man back inside Azkaban?” What do you think this says to Prof Snape?

Grow-up and start listening at facts! Ok I do feel Snape’s pain and I understand the need for revenge but sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture.

4. How do you think Ron feels about Scabbers and his true identity?

Revulsion, disgust, probably feel like vomiting! His bestest pet is this revolting man …who’s been in his bed, his coat’s pocket…!! Now I’m feeling sick!

Challenge: Craft something that represents Sirius Black- either the person or his Animagus form.
