♥♥♥ knooking this Cradle Bag!
Cradle bag - S/F Nov. 10th - 23rd
I’ve knooked this one in the round as well and it looks much better than my previous one!
I’ve found a better way to knook moss sts - knit stitches are in Eastern and the purl stitches are in LA. So all my stitches are sitting above my cord rather than wrap around it.
Moss stitch for the Base.
Did not cast off I just picked-up 80 stitches around.
9 + 31 + 9 + 31 = 80 sts
I knooked the side in double-moss stitch for 18 rounds. Change to red yarn.
Red Rounds - After 2 rows I changed to a bigger hook. Knook 14 rows in stocking stitch. I’ve cast off in crochet picot.
For the Handles I’ve crochet the required length in Crochet Foundation dc
For Edging I’ve crochet Reverse sc.

Bedding - Nov 24th
I’ve started with the pillow.
Crochet chain 20 and picked-up stitches on both side of the chain to start knooking (Like sock cast on) - 40 sts.
Knooking in the round. 3 rounds in seed sts.
Next 12 rounds - 3 seed sts, 14 knit sts, 3 seed sts 20 seed sts
3 rounds in seed sts.
Stuff and slip stitch to close the pillow but keep all the sts live on the hook.
Hook through the front loop, then the back loop. Yarn that back loop and pull it through the front. Yarn and pull through the loop. (20 sts on cord)
Now I followed instructions for the bedding. Once completed I sew the sides, the top of the bedding under the pillow.

Something not what it seem
When I saw this cute little bag I just had to peek inside. What’s this inside?
When I open and folded the bag, it turns into a cradle!
Truly Magical this Cradle Bag!! ♥

Something light and dark colours
I’ve also knooked a matching sleeping bag for the Cradle Bag. Love the fluffy red yarn against the white yarn.
