I bought Dobby pattern from Quirkee Crochet on Etsy
Quirkeecrochet
I’ve ordered 18mm eyes from Ebay.
This uses just single crochet stitch (UK - double crochet) throughout, but you still need to be a confident Crocheter.
11th - 16th: Instead of running stitch, I’ve used slip stitch for the joint.
Both legs completed. While perusing Amis Forum I came across this Link for Invisible Decrease . One word AMAZING! No more spots on my Amis ^_^
Actually Planet June has got a lot of useful tips for crochet Amigurumis.
17th - 18th: Fingers and arms completed.
19th - 22nd: Body completed. Today, the 20th I received the order for his eyes, Soooo blue!
Finally connected all the limps to the body, oh! I love him. It’s already 25 inches long! He does look a bit scary without a head! Better hurry on then ^_^
22nd - 23rd: Head completed and all stitch together. ♥
He is now 30 inches tall !! ^_^
I didn’t knit those clothes.
Assignment 3 House Elf Apparition
… A silent wish sails the seven seas, The winds of change whisper in the trees, And the walls of doubt crumble tossed and torn, This comes to pass, when a child Dobby is born! …
I absolutely enjoyed Crocheting Dobby and I hope I’ve done the pattern justice, Thank you Melissa. ^_^
I should also say thank you to Janice who encourage me to buy this pattern after I saw her Dominic.
Oh my goodness! This is such a perfect likeness of sweet Dobby! He has such personality. I especially love his eyes and his little round belly :) This is really exquisite work! You should be really proud of him :)
I’m happy to award you 100 points

Brilliant! What a great gift for Dobby--he takes such pride in his wardrobe, after all, and a house elf no doubt has trouble keeping his tea towel togas clean.
