I love my Poppy Hat. ♥♥♥♥♥

The pattern is well written. I bought it from Ebay.

The pattern is written for Newborn to 36 months. But my yarn and my hook are bigger! So my hat fit an adult head size 24”.

I followed the instruction for size 4, 20” head.

I’ve worked the whole hat in the round and use a marker instead of chain1
After R17 I’ve added 11 more rounds to get my height.

I love the border, so flowery!

Bellatrix Assignment 5 Option B

Just like The Dark Lord Bellatrix is also an avid collector of personal objects. If ever you manage to go in her vault you’ll find this red flowery hat in a dusty box … no I’m not telling how I got in! ;)

Anyway back to that red hat. It’s got a description with it that says: I was 10 years old and my day in Muggle land was surprisingly fascinated! The street of London was full of Muggle wearing a red flower on their lapel. Mother called the flower Poppy. I like that name, even more so when I find out it was to remember all the dead Muggle Warriors! Well I thought this Poppy hat more appropriate than a small flower!

Yuk! Even at a tender age this poor girl had a morbid mind!
