I was getting very frustrated with my colour choice until Lena rearranged them to a more pleasing sequence.
You are a Genius Lena, thank you very much!

Now that the greys have been banish to the background my life is more cerise ^_^

I’ve found a couple of very interesting chainless start links; ♥

My joining sequence. I’m working around my 1st hexagon;

  • Triangles then squares
  • Squares then hexagons
  • Triangles then squares. First I attached 2 triangles then a square in between. Now 1 triangle then a square in between. It’s lovely to see the molecule grows ^_^

I did a few centers in advance (travelling-ring) then just have fun joining along and watch the molecule grows.
When I go to my Club I don’t have to carry 3x 200g of yarns around!
p.s. I’m now using a stitch holder instead of a cord. No tying a cord every minutes :)

S/F March 16th - 25th
I finished the smaller blanket, the center element and six more around it. (7 Molecules)

It’s big already! 88cm around & weighing 365g
1 Hexagon = 17cm
1 Square = 9cm
1 Triangle = 8cm

S/F March 27th - 31st
Completing the rest of my molecules now.

Final size is 56”, huge and heavy!
Just like Lena I’ve sc round in my grey.
I love my rug, thank you Lena ♥

Craft something to represent a hex or jinx. Explain your choice and how your project represents that spell.

The Death Eaters were everywhere in the Castle. How will we escape this attack alive?

Suddenly I found myself surrounded and trap like a rat in the storage room! They advance on me like a pack of wolves, ready to pounce.

At that moment I remembered a jinx my Professor taught us how to attack multiple, tight-knit enemies at once. I point my wand and cast the Cascading Spell.

A huge explosion erupted in cerise colour hitting all the Death-Eaters in the room! They all fall down in a haze of grey and white smoke.

Phew! I was lucky this time I best not let myself get trap again. I hurry out away from the bodies and shut the door, just in case and join my friends in the fight to defeat The Dark Lord and his followers.
