Notes

I’m crocheting my mushroom in one piece, from Stem to Cap as well.
I’ve also crochet in continuous round for a seamless stem. I use a stitch marker to keep tab of the Rounds

I wanted a longer stem, so I’ve repeated R7-R10 one more time.

Swap dark brown colour for Gills.
In front loop, 2sc, 1sc in next 4sts, 2sc, sc 4. (12 sts)
Continue with R3 & R4
I’ve added an extra round; SC 3, 2SC …
Added an SC round too.

Swap to red and follow the Cap instructions backward. But remember decreases are increases, visa, versa!

After I completed R11, I crochet the next round, R10, on the sc bump, not the 2 lips! I used a smaller hook as the bump is tight!

Need to stuff the Stem before closing the Cap completely. I’ve inserted a 12mm wood in the stem. Perfect fit! Do not over-stuff the Cap.

Stop the Cap at R3. No ss just cut a long tail to sew the cap shut. No pointy top!

Eh! It’s standing. I ♥ my Mushroom ^_^

Craft something that represents rain or deal with rain situation.

When one live in the wild, one cannot pop-in a Supermarket for an umbrella! So one turn to nature for daily need.
For example this mushroom can be use to protect a creature from raindrops. Just like an umbrella cover a human from rain.
