Notes

For row 11 and row 12, count your stitches twice!!

Once the first circle for the Sun is completed, crochet and sew the eyes in place… and a big smile as ordered!

For the 2nd circle I finish it with Lena’s join-as-you-go.

Sunbeam - Only did 12 triangles. Once completed I folded them in half and join them like a bunting (6 sts from each triangle), close. Then Lena joined them to the body.

I Lena joined the Clouds as well.

Yea! Only had to needle sew the eyes, everything else are join-as-you-go. What a fun pattern ^_^

Potterwatch - Rotation 2 final week - Post 1387

This time when I entered the Potterwatch Room there was only Professor Nox sitting on a chair. I hesitated but then slowly moved forward.
Hello Prof. for this assignment I’ve chosen a story from my muggle book of Aesop’s Fables. I hope you’ll like.

The Sun and the North Wind
An Aesop’s Fables

The wind and the sun argued one day over which one was the stronger. Spotting a man travelling on the road, they sported a challenge to see which one could remove the coat from the man’s back the quickest.

The wind began. He blew strong gusts of air, so strong that the man could barely walk against them. But the man clutched his coat tight against him. The wind blew harder and longer, and the harder the wind blew, the tighter the man held his coat against him.The wind blew until he was exhausted, but he could not remove the coat from the man’s back.

It was now the sun’s turn. He gently sent his beams upon the traveller. The sun did very little, but quietly shone upon his head and back until the man became so warm that he took off his coat and headed for the nearest shade tree.

The moral of the story is gentle persuasion is stronger than force.

Once I finished reading I noticed that Prof Nox hasn’t move at all. On closer inspection I saw that this was a wax doll …. Oh no!!

In a corner of the room I saw a pink clothes approached me. So you dare to read from a muggle book? You will be punish. Guard!! She shouted.

But instead Dobby apparated and took my hand. Phew! Thanks Dobby but I wonder where Prof Nox is?
