I like my first Beatrix jacket so much and get so many compliments every time I wear it that one year or so after having completed it I spontaneously decided to knit a second one in another colour.

I bought the wool in July 2021, but it was so hot in Madrid that I put it aside. I didn’t feel like knitting with wool in Summer and decided to cast on my second Beatrix in September or October.

A few months later I had lost all interest in it…

But I still had the wool in mind that I had bought for this purpose, therefore in January 2023 I forced myself to cast on and to work on it from time to time. I didn’t manage to complete it until October(!).

After all, I am happy with the result. My only regret is that I used larger needles this time and that the jacket has turned out a bit wider than desired. I like the fit of the first one better, but I like this one, too and wear it very often.
