I used a pretty large hook for this. I can’t remember exactly which one now, but I ended up ripping it back about 3 times until I found a hook that gave it a lot of drape.

This isn’t quite finished. Still needs all the ends weaving in and to be blocked etc. (as evidenced by the sneaky cat under the chair playing with an unweaved end)

But it is mostly done. The color on my camera doesn’t do this justice. It is a really pretty color that ranges from a red wine to a vibrant almost magenta. It is a very pretty colorway. I hope my mother likes it.

This pattern rocks too! I am absolutely making one of these for myself after the Christmas presents are all crocheted.
