The yarn is very pleasant to knit with, so I hope my daughter won’t complain because it’s woll :-).
I think this sweater looks so much better when knitted in stockinette rather than in reverse stockinette :-). So I decided to knit it in stockinette in the round on circular needles.
I am going to put the flower in a frame of reverse stockinette later.
While knitting this sweater I learned a new technique how to make bubbles very easily, without turning the work. Look here

As I want to have a warm sweater I decided to make only four lacy stripes on the sleeves :-). I’ll certainly knit a summerversion in cotton with lacy sleeves some day. The pattern is beautiful, but not the way it is written.
