Notes

I’m using size 6 needles because I don’t want the stitches to be too loose. Those are little fingers and I don’t want them poking though.

1-30-08 It quickly became obvious why people recommend knitting backwards for entrelac projects. The turning back and forth wasn’t a big issue for the first row, but I can just imagine how cumbersome that would be as soon as the blanket gets some weight. I figured out how it works so I’m ready to go. The throwing my yarn to knit backwards has certainly slowed me down on the purling, but hopefully I’ll pick up speed as I get farther along and better at it.

2-2-08 I was going to make this twenty rows long, but I think I am going to cut it back down to 10. As it is, it is going to be much bigger than the first one I knit for the twin. I also think it might be close to square with only 10 rows.

I absolutely love the colors of this yarn!

2-3-08 I’m going back to twenty rows. I finished 5 of the rows and I realized that it wasn’t going to be square at all with 10 rows.

3-31-08 I finished last night! It just needs to be washed and have the ends trimmed. My very first NYC FO!.
