I found this pattern in an old Italian publication.
It’s a pattern that gives the crocheter freedom of interpretation. I mean, there are just some basic instructions and a generic sentence like “make details in colored cotton (see photo)”.

Yarn is an Italian pearl cotton size 5, probably from 80s too. The white cotton skein has yellowed over time, but I used it like this anyway. It may return all white after washing the potholder, or it may show beige speckles forever. Either way, it works for a chicken, isn’t it?

Le istruzioni lasciano libertà di interpretazione, ossia ci sono giusto delle indicazioni di base e una frase generica tipo “lavorare i dettagli col cotone colorato (vedi foto)”.

Il cotone è un perlé n.5 italiano, probabilmente anch’esso anni ‘80. La matassa bianca si è ingiallita col tempo, ma l’ho usata com’era lo stesso. Potrebbe tornare bianca lavando la presina, o potrebbe restare a macchioline beige per sempre. In ogni caso, va bene per un pollo, no?
