After the long legged fox was a huge hit with Leo, decided to have some fun with this pattern and make him a cyclops monster using the fox as the base pattern. Using a 4 weight yarn (made fox with 3, sugarwheel cotton) He is 17” tall before adding the curved horns which add an additional 2” making this a decent doll size.

Body made like long legged fox. Before stuffing body, inserted large foam roller in body and into neck and head for support.
Did not finish off and continued on with neck, making head in reverse and finishing off at top of head so that body and head are one piece.
Foam rollers
Use 2 pieces of duct tape. over top of plastic cap and then around side on both top and bottom of rollers to secure wire inside from slipping out. Arm rollers needed to be cut shorter to fit. Used a pair of needle nose pliers to curl inside wire and replace plastic cap.
