Closed top with decreasing rounds starting with 8 sc, Dec rep
Crochet bottom with 5 mm hook
Made 1 row of sc in round before switching to 4.00mm hook and making ribbed sc rows. Chain 9, sc 8 back to bottom of hat and sl stitching into same stitch and next st for first row
Sc 7 blo towards end of brim and sc in both loops of last st, ch 1 and blo 8 st back to brim, sl st into next 2 st, ch 1 and rep around. FO leaving tail to whip st beginning and end rows together.
