So I’ve finally finished this lovely, but very boring project!
I stated it when I first learnt to knit and got bored so forgot about it for years… And I found it the other day looking sorry for itself… So finished it. I had lost the book though, so I had to make it up as I went along, matching the other front To the original front.
I actually think it looks very sweet and traditional.
For the edging, I simply used circular needles to pick up and knit all the way around the front edges and collar in 1 go and Made simple button holes. I think I picked up too many stitches though as it’s got a flared edge… Lesson for the future!
