I wanted a simple gift idea for men- and found some cheap mugs in Matalan, so used up spare wool to make a cosy. I then put my signature ‘made with love’ tag and bow on the front- I think it’s really cute!

Pattern as follows:

cast on 36 stitches and divide between dpns

3 rounds of rib 2x2 (k2 p2)
then turn work and work in rows (not completing the round) AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st in the k2 bits (so k1, kfb, p2 etc)- rib then becomes a 3x2 rib and shapes to fit mug.
work until handle length is reached
join the round- work 3 rounds and cast off in pattern.
