I saw this pattern last year when i first started knitting… so I’ve finally cast on!
My guineas are very small though, so I quickly realised 88sts was too much, so I k2tog, on about 10 of the rib stitches, and i’m now continuing in st st, with the rib at the neck and waist.
- project now finished, I noticed it was coming up very big (I have quite small Guineas!) so I did some impromptu ‘shaping’ around the ‘waist’! but the neck area was then too big still… soo,,, I turned it upside down and put it on that way- volia, a fitted jumper!
My Guinea wasn’t too impressed though, I only put it on her for about 2 mins while I took the snaps, so please bear this in mind if you dress your pets, I really don’t think the’d like it- Boeing kept getting her little feet stuck in the neck area!
