Notes

03Mar10: I’m very happy with this! Too bad spring came way too early, I may not see this on as much as I’d like. This color is impossible to photograph. Take your pick, it’s somewhere in between all of it.

Basically I made the Small sweater with Medium length. This was essential for the body as the guy in the book looks like a dwarf… and it’s not because of the guy. I did a provisional cast-on for the sleeves, as is my custom for yoke sweaters. I knit until it looked about right, and actually it was right. So I just picked up the cast-on and bound-off right away. In general I followed the pattern exactly, and it is As Advertised.

23Nov09: A request for me to make a sweater I actually enjoy making (see Cobblestones Without Tears) has resulted in this lovely item. I am excited about it and I’ve had some great advice from Freckle who made the best version of the Cable Guy sweater so far, in my opinion.

His hand-picked color, is stunning (not conveyed by the pics yet), and I predict the sweater is going to look very interesting and almost messy. My only concern is the acrylic content of the yarn, but if anything, it will be easily washable.
