I often buy yarn on a vacation and then hoard it for the rest of my life. I will break this curse and knit these lovelies I bought recently in Vermont ️RIGHT NAO!️. Machine knitting will, of course, make this snappier.

I started by making 20 row stripes but only realized too late that the boucle mohair would ‘paunch out’ because of the difference in thickness. Unfortunately, the paunch stripe was at my waist, oops. (see pic)

So I settled on a much different scheme of 4 rows each color/texture. It will be a great everyday piece, I’m thinking!
